We've just wrapped up a two new projects for one of our favorite new clients,

The other is a very cool presentation touting the advantages of these products, but that coolness comes in the form a huge file, so we'll just stick screenshots of it in our portfolio at a later date. Really, though, I'm just excited I got to do a project with the word "petabytes" in it. Not that I'm a geek or anything.

The

Perhaps I was a bit harsh in my previous post regarding Macromedia's multimedia authoring products (though I in no way retract the previous statements). Director and Flash are both well-conceived products that provide valuable features, it's just the implementation that I must take issue with at times. Here's to a brighter (better documented, less buggy) future under Adobe!
Posted: Jan 18, 2006 by rob
NEWS FLASH: Macromedia Director sucks! No, really, it sucks. And Flash, Flash ain't so cool either. Granted the concepts of each product are a good idea, but damn! Can I get an "amen?"

Interestingly things are heading back toward the '30s-'40s and the long lost days of "scary" propaganda - which could be fun for designers who happen to believe in the cause. Let us know if you spot anything like this in your neighborhood - but report through secure channels. You are being watched.
