YouTube and
Vimeo have recently announced native
HTML5 video support, based on the popular
H.264 video codec. Though the HTML5 video spec has
yet to be finalized, this is a great step forward for online video, and a good alternative to Flash-based video players on the web.

Chrome web browser moves up to the number three spot in
overall marketshare. Newly available on Mac and Linux systems, Chrome has inched past
Safari, but is still dwarfed by Internet Explorer's nearly 65% share of the browser market. Now, if we could just
eliminate IE 6...
